Security Officers / Training Levels

:::Security Officers
Twin City Security recruits, screens, selects, trains, supervises and evaluates all Security Officers to ensure the highest level of integrity and the closest possible match to the needs and culture of each client's property. All these processes are ongoing as conditions change.

Twin City Security believes in recognizing and rewarding integrity and initiative. We maintain a variety of recognition programs and prefer to promote internally whenever possible and appropriate.

:::Training Levels
To meet the varied requirements of diverse clients, Twin City Security trains Security Officers to match the level of service required at each facility.

Level 1 = Basic Security Officer
This is the minimum level of training and expertise required for construction sites and similar accounts. This is primarily an access control function with some safety fire watch and safety enforcement duties. Minimal public relations interaction is expected.

Level 2 = Intermediate Security Officer
Slightly higher level of training and sophistication. Suitable for access control and routine patrol duties, with extensive public relations contact. Appropriate for most commercial and residential properties.

Level 3 = Senior Security Officer
Suitable for higher-level of training and sophistication. Suitable for access control and routine patrol duties, with extensive public relations contact. Appropriated for most commercial and residential properties.

Level 4 = Specialized Security Officer
This is the highest level of training and expertise. Capable of handling a wide variety of duties, often of a very sensitive nature. Qualified to carry and use lethal and non-lethal weapons. Often first aid, first responder or EMT certified. Many have unique skills resulting from their military or other specialized experiences.

These security Officers are the candidates for Field Training Officer and Supervisor positions in the company and at various accounts. They are the future management of the company and the security industry.

::::Uniforms and Appearance
Often times, a security officer is the first person your visitors will see at your facility. Their image reflects on you, your company, and Twin City Security. Our Officers always look sharp, professional, and in command, because we only issue brand new uniforms and equipment, and an additional uniform cleaning allowance to keep your team looking it's best. In fact, we have several distinct "looks" to help you present the image you want for your organization.

::::Supervision
Twin City Security maintains a system of 24-hour officer supervision, through our dispatch command center and fleet of supervisors. Every shift, these 24-hour supervisors make unscheduled inspections to each of our on-duty Security Officers. These supervisors are themselves monitored by computerized location systems to maintain 100% performance accuracy.

::::Officer Training

In-house Training

Twin City Security is committed to providing superior quality Security to our clients. This begins with superior quality training for our Security Officers. The technical professionals in our training department are constantly researching new training techniques and updating our training curriculum, to insure the highest quality Security Services available. Our Security Officers are trained with classroom instruction, video/computer-based training, hands-on exercises as well as on-the-job facility training. For information on the specific levels of training, see Levels of Security Service.

On-Site Training
After our security officers have completed their in-house training, on-site training begins. Your site is carefully analyzed, and a job description manual and training checklist are designed for both training and post orders, including local law enforcement and emergency services. Security Officers are repeatedly tested for training reinforcement. Supervisory inspections, in addition to routine Security Officer facility inspections, provide continuity to insure your complete satisfaction.
